Zachary Overbay

Hi! My name is Zachary Overbay. I have lived in East Tennessee all my life. I graduated high school from Cedar View Christian School. I earned my Associate of Science from Northeast State Community College in Mass Communication, and I earned my Bachelor of Science in Media and Communications from East Tennessee State University.

My education has allowed me to do lots of cool things and meet lots of new people. At Northeast State, I met my soon to be wife Jillian. I also participated in theatre productions, toastmasters, and started learning how to edit video content. Once I moved on to ETSU, I really started sinking my teeth into the world of media and figuring out what I liked doing the most. I DJed for the college radio station and won DJ of the Year. I wrote, directed, and acted in various short film projects with Buc Films and a few of my friends' independent projects and won a few awards at festivals. After graduation, I took a job at News Channel 11 where I worked with some really cool people, met some interesting people such as politicians, athletes, and celebrities, and used my skills to edit stories for broadcast television.

I love hanging out with my fiancée Jillian and going on fun dates to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. We parent an orange cat named Wylan. I still like to work on films with my friends. I am also a huge pro wrestling fan and could watch and talk about it for hours on end. So, feel free to tell me your favorite wrestler or favorite match.
