Taylor Shanks

Hi everyone! My name is Taylor Shanks. I am from Elizabethton, TN and graduated from Unaka High School in 2019. I attended East Tennessee State University and majored in Human Services. During my time at ETSU I was part of several organizations such as the Roan Scholars Leadership Program, Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, and the Second Year Transitional Program. I graduated in May 2023 and started my graduate degree in School Counseling in the summer of 2023. 

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my dog, Jango. I love hiking and nature, so most of the time I am outside enjoying our beautiful home. I also enjoy every sport, but enjoy my time coaching softball the most. I look forward to this year as a NiswongerCARE Advisor!
