Lauren Boles

Hi everyone! My name is Lauren Boles. I was born and raised in Greeneville, Tennessee. I attended South Greene High School and graduated from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in May 2024. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and minored in Geography and Global Studies. My future career plans aren’t fully worked out yet, however, I am planning on returning for my masters degree sometime in the near future. 

 

As a first-generation college student myself, I understand the importance of pursuing post-secondary enrollment, as well as how stressful the process can be. It is my hope that through my work and guidance that I can be a source of support for students and can make a positive impact on them and their futures.

 

As for my personal life, I have many interests and hobbies. Some of my interests are listening to music, spending time with family and friends, trying new/playing with makeup, and watching movies. My hobbies change and most of them are fleeting, but as of now, some of my favorites are: collecting physical media (especially DVDs), air dry clay sculpting, and embroidery. 

 

I have one cat! His name is Hoshi and he is almost seven years old. He is the softest cat I’ve ever pet and is a complete lovebug. You can usually find him napping on the couch or scratching the arm of a chair.
