Ashley Beck

My Story 

Hello! My name is Ashley Beck, and I am from Cleveland, TN. After graduating from Walker Valley High School in 2019, I moved to Johnson City to attend East Tennessee State University. I recently graduated from ETSU in May of 2023 with my Bachelor of Science. I majored in Health Science with a concentration in Human Health and I also had two minors: Health Administration and American Sign Language.

I was accepted into the Accelerated Bachelors to Master's Program (ABM) where I was able to take Masters classes while completing my undergraduate degree. I am now in my very last semester of my Masters program which is Public Health: Epidemiology. In this last semester, I will be an intern for the Tennessee Department of Health working with the Waterborne and Zoonotic Diseases Department. I’m so very excited to be graduating in December!

While pursuing my undergraduate degree, I was very involved in campus. My first year, I was a clarinet player in the “Marching Bucs”. I only was involved for a year because COVID interrupted my time being involved, yay COVID! I was a campus tour guide all four years of undergrad, where I loved getting to know students and families that came to visit. I was involved in many different clubs and extracurriculars, but those are the highlights!

I recently got married to my amazing husband, Caleb, in June 2024. We are dog parents to Bentley and June, who are both Australian Shepherds. I’m so excited to get to know every student and hear about your passions, interests, and where you want to be.
